ran again. I'm such a dumbass. I have been not running for like two weeks (well I walked 7 miles the one day, but that's it.) because I was feeling low and sick and blah. But I forgot. How running makes me feel EXCELLENT. Dumbass.

So anyway I registed for the Go Wireless half. Only this time I won't be SICK. I will be in EXCELLENT health. And I'll run it and feel EXCELLENT. Hah. Last year the Go Wireless 5k was my first race ever. Now it can be my first half ever. Whoo hah. So that's in a month. I will spend the next month in EXCELLENT running contemplation of the universe.

(I am not yet sufficiently spiritually advanced for the "don't just do something! sit there!" method. I fall asleep whenever I try to meditate. Maybe one day, when I've broken my knee or some damn thing.)

Actually I just remembered the meditation room at church. The few times I've been in there, usually to lock a purse in during a concert, it has been very, very peaceful. Well and purseful. I took a nap there once, but I kept waking up and staring at the dim lamps and the driftwood. A bit glazed over, but awake and you know, there. Maybe one of these weeks I'll go to church an hour early and hang out there. If it's unlocked, I wonder. I am not hip to the meditation policies, yo.

I have some foldy-up scissors (they're so cute!) for my wee hippo purse. They are much lighter than my swiss army knife and I have already used them twice. I feel slightly sneaky, like, my plan make myself carry less things by buying a tiny, tiny purse has just made me seek out tiny, tiny things to carry a lot of, but hey, it's still terribly light and portable and wot. Ho, ho!
